MAFS 2023: Meet Duncan, a Chivalrous Gentleman Looking For Love
Celebrating its 10th season, the new series of “Married at First Sight” put relationships to the test in ways they could never imagine as our new brides and grooms say “I do” to a complete stranger.
Twenty singles will meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. And we can’t wait for the drama!
The social experiment kicks off on Monday, January 30, at 7.30pm on Channel 9, and promises to begin with the biggest shock ever to rock a wedding. We’re also teased some honeymoons ranging from the deeply romantic to the extra-spicy and drama-filled, interstate and overseas.
But that’s not all. A brand-new twist is going to send shockwaves through the experiment like we’ve never seen before, which will put couples to the ultimate test.
For now, here’s everything we know so far about the participants of MAFS 2023.
Meet Prince Charming. Duncan is a chivalrous gentleman who has no trouble meeting women but often finds himself in relationships that aren’t compatible.
In a relationship, Duncan calls himself “the best friend and the lover”. He’s searching for a woman with class, emotional intelligence, and confidence. But to spark a connection, Duncan says it’s crucial that he’s physically attracted to his partner, so he’s hoping the match-up experts get it right.
Growing up in a close family unit on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with two older sisters means the groom understands and appreciates women on a deeper level. His parents have also been married for 44 years, a relationship success he aspires to achieve.
