While the style isn’t groundbreaking by any means, it has been plunged back into the beauty zeitgeist, with a number of people rocking the look on Instagram — the hashtag #bubble ponytail currently has over 20,000 posts on the social platform. As Stylist pointed out, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Olivia Lux also recently styled their hair in this way, making a firm case for the throwback hairstyle.
