Here’s How to Get Your Hands on Julie Goodwin’s Quirky Jewellery From MasterChef Australia
Ever since MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites premiered its first episode, my eyes have been firmly glued to my TV screen. I’ve been watching the cooking competition since 2009 and seeing so many former contestants I once had an attachment to brought about a wave of nostalgia.
Of course, the one who has created the most amount of chatter is the queen herself: Julie Goodwin. She took home the prize in the very first season of MasterChef Australia, and 13 years later, she’s back to reclaim her throne.
While people are of course enjoying her home-style cooking, it’s her quirky (and heavily on-brand) jewellery that really has people talking. In every episode, Goodwin is spotted wearing food-inspired necklaces and earrings, and it seems she’s quickly creating a trend.
Viewers at home are wanting to know where they can get their hands on it, and luckily for you, we have the answer. The chef is a woman of many talents. She runs her own cooking school, is a published author and, in the past, hosted a breakfast radio show.
But a lesser-known fact about her is that she also has her own jewellery line, Lemonade Art, and it’s available to shop on her website, Julie’s Place.
Each creation is made by hand, with no two pieces the same. Using polymer clay, ceramic, resin, glass and repurposed items, the stunning jewellery makes for a perfect gift — and acts as a great conversation starter.
There’s pepperoni pizza and smashed avo on toast earrings plus a breakfast pendant, which closely resembles the necklace Julie is seen wearing on the show. Prices start from $15, with the most expensive item costing $38.
As for the beaded bracelet she wears, we’re not too sure where it came from, but it looks similar to Jock Zonfrillo’s worry beads. You can purchase them from the judge’s website, with $5 from every purchase going directly to Beyond Blue.
