By now, you’ve no doubt seen Sadie Sink on your screen. You might recognise the Texas native from her popular role as Max Mayfield in the hit Netflix sci-fi series “Stranger Things,” but that’s far from her only project. Since her early start in Hollywood, Sink has appeared in popular TV shows like “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” films like “The Glass Castle,” and even Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well: The Short Film.”
The young actress shows no signs of slowing down. She’s slated to appear in at least two films this upcoming year, including “The Whale” (alongside “The Mummy” actor Brendan Fraser) and the drama “Dear Zoe.”

“Dear Zoe”
“Dear Zoe” is an upcoming drama starring Sink as the lead. Sink plays a teen named Tess who is overcome by regret, helplessness, and grief after a family member dies in a hit and run. Tess finds unexpected solace in her father, who’d only let her down in the past. “Dear Zoe” is slated to be released in 2022 and was inspired by the Philip Beard novel by the same name.

“Dominion”
Sink narrates the 2018 documentary “Dominion” along with Sia, Joaquin Phoenix, and Rooney Mara. Winning numerous awards, including the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival award for fest picture and the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards narration award, “Dominion” examines humanity’s relationship to modern animal agriculture. This is Sink’s only experience to date narrating a documentary.

“Chuck”
In the movie “Chuck” (inspired by the life of boxer Chuck Wepner), Sink plays Chuck’s daughter, Kimberly. Starring Liev Schreiber as the heavyweight boxing champion and Elisabeth Moss as his wife, the film chronicles Wepner’s rise and fall as he gains and mishandles fame. Sink’s character appears throughout the film and is based on Wepner’s real-life daughter.

“American Odyssey”
Sink had her first recurring TV role in the 2015 NBC series “American Odyssey,” playing Suzanne Ballard. Inspired by the classic Homer epic, the drama-thriller tells the story of a female American sergeant who helps uncover an international conspiracy run by the US military. Sink’s character, Suzanne, is the daughter of protagonists Odelle and Ron Ballard and is featured in 11 episodes of the show’s single-season run.

“Blue Bloods”
Sink made a single episode appearance in season four of the popular TV drama “Blue Bloods” starring Tom Selleck. In the episode “Insult to Injury,” Frank Regan (Selleck) chaperones his grandson’s school field trip and meets Daisy (Sink). Frank encourages Daisy to pursue her dream of becoming a park ranger, despite her mom’s wishes for her to have a career in medicine.

“Tweenies”
Sink’s made her first TV appearance in 2003 at the age of 1, playing herself in the children’s TV series “Tweenies.” Created by Bounce magazine, the educational series featured real kids doing everyday activities such as crafts, cooking, and science experiments in a documentary-style format. You’ll also recognise Amy Poehler and Elijah Wood, who starred as themselves in “Tweenies.”
