This Hocus Pocus Lego Kit Could Become a Reality, So Make Some Space Near Your Cauldron
Amber Veyt, a 23-year-old Lego-lover, has created a Lego set that, quite frankly, I’m wondering how I’ve ever lived without. Amber’s Hocus Pocus-themed set was submitted to Lego Ideas – a platform in which creators can submit proposals for new sets – and as it has the support of over 10,000 people, it’s currently in review by the Lego team! The set focuses on the Sanderson sisters’ cottage, and the details are immaculate. Outside, you’ll find the museum informational plaque, Billy Butcherson’s gravesite, and the water mill Thackery Binx climbs up to get into the house when his sister Emily is trapped inside. In the cottage, there’s the black flame candle, Winnie’s cauldron and spell book, the cages Ice and Jay become trapped in, and so, so much more.
The best part about this nearly 2,500-piece set, though? Its minifigures. Amber completely nailed each one of the fan-favorite movie’s characters in minifigure form, including Winnie, Mary, and Sarah, Max, Dani, and Allison, Ice, Jay, Billy, Thackery Binx – in cat and human form – and Emily.

“I absolutely loved this movie as a kid and never stopped loving it ever since! When I rewatched the movie and saw the Sanderson sisters’ cottage, a voice in my head said that this cottage would be an awesome LEGO set. Not only for die hard Hocus Pocus-fans but also for the ones that love spooky or haunted houses, Halloween and well…. just a bunch of hocus pocus!” Amber wrote on the set’s Lego Ideas page. “The set represents the moment when Max [Dennison] lights the black flame candle. . . [it] can be customized to look like the 1993 Sanderson Museum complete with black candle info-stand, museum signage, rope barriers and cash register, or you can remove these elements and simply make the Sandersons’ home as if it was 1693.”
Get a better look at all of the set’s details and its minifigures ahead, and make some room next to your cauldron in case it becomes a real set available for purchase!
