Jerry Seinfeld's Sneakers Have Nabbed Him the Title of Sitcom Style King
I know this might sound crazy, but Jerry Seinfeld has a pretty impressive sneaker collection on the hit NBC sitcom Seinfeld. I recently started watching the show (I know, I know, I’m late to the game), and instead of focusing on all of the funny moments, I found myself waiting to see which pair of sneakers Jerry’s character would wear next. Within the first few episodes, it was easy to see that he had an extensive collection of white kicks from Nike. He was either always wearing them with jeans and a turtleneck or jeans and a sweatshirt – he could have easily been mistaken for present-day New Yorker, rather than a character from an ’80s sitcom.
And, if you think Jerry wore just any old pair of Nikes, think again. From a pair of classic black-and-white Nike Cortez sneakers to Nike’s Huarache kicks, it seems like the actor had no shortage of sneakers on set. In fact, he kept his sneaker game going strong during his latest TV show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Keep reading to take a look back at Jerry’s best sneaker moments and how he styled them on Seinfeld ahead.
