What Taurus Season Has in Store For Each Zodiac Sign

Taurus season is a more grounding, mellow and down-to-earth time compared to its Aries season predecessor. Dossé-Via, founder of astrology platform and app KnowTheZodiac, and author of the forthcoming astrological compatibility book “Signs & Skymates,” says this is a season for comfort and enjoyment.

“Taurus Season encourages us to lavish in sensual pleasures,” she explains. “It’s a great time to indulge in extra self-care, by pampering oneself with mani and pedis, spa days, or immersing oneself in a clay mud bath. We’ll find ourselves wanting to be surrounded by nature and beauty, and seeking to make our lives beautiful as well.”

After an active (and at times aggressive) Aries season, Taurus season is about slowing down and focusing on simple pleasures. “Let yourself sleep in, order take-out, watch your favorite movies, and curate beautiful playlists,” Dossé-Via says.

When Is Taurus Season?

This year, the Sun will enter Taurus on April 20, and move out of Taurus into Gemini on May 20. “Our foundations are being rebuilt, and we’ll be able to see who is truly on our team [throughout this season],” Dossé-Via explains. During Taurus season, a solar eclipse in this sign is expected to occur on April 30. Eclipses are known to bring a bit of drama, sudden change, and revelations, so all signs can expect some transformation this Taurus season.

Taurus Season: What to Expect in 2022

With transformation, comes some shake-ups and changes. The best thing to do ahead of this Taurus season is to set realistic objectives and think about the small steps you can take to achieve them. Keeping all this in mind, here’s what each zodiac sign can expect this Taurus season according to Dossé-Via.

Aries (March 20-April 19)

This season is all about security, Aries. The Sun in Taurus will activate your sector of security, having an impact on your finances and relationships. You might find yourself being more financially focused and wanting to feel like you can trust your loved ones on an emotional and spiritual level.

The name of the game this season is making improvements. You might find yourself weeding out those who aren’t really there for you, and showing more appreciation for those who are. “It’s also essential that Aries be self-reflective and honest about how much they’ve been showing up for their loved ones,” Dossé-Via says.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Happy birthday, Taurus! This season is about rebirth for you. It’s a special year because a series of eclipses along the Taurus-Scorpio axis will be taking place, asking you to surrender to the transformations occurring within and around you. The first eclipse on April 30 will give you a push, encouraging you to let go of your fears of failure, and step into a new version of yourself.

As a fixed sign, these changes and surprises may seem scary, but Dossé-Via says that you should spend your birthday season manifesting your best case scenario. Ask yourself: How do you want to change and grow?

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This may seem foreign to you, Gemini, but this season may feel less social. Taurus season will be activating your sector of healing, making you more spiritually attuned ahead of your birthday season.

“It’s a great time for Geminis to give up bad habits or vices that have kept them feeling stuck, or in limbo,” Dossé-Via explains. “They may not be able to do it all at once, but they’re encouraged to be more moderate and mindful of what they consume, and more aware of what they may be trying to escape from.”

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You’ll be changing directions this month, Cancer. While Aries season was about careers, Taurus season is about your friendships. Prepare to cultivate more harmony and consistency in your relationships, especially with your loved ones.

It’s also time to take a look at your social media, says Dossé-Via. “Cancers should take advantage of Taurus Season’s meticulous energy and delete tweets or IG posts that are no longer reflective of who they are,” she says. Did someone say rebrand?

Leo (July 23-Aug.22)

This season might leave you feeling a little bit restless, Leo, as Taurus tends to square off with your nature. This pressure can help you thrive though, and you’ll be feeling more career-focused and even entrepreneurial this season. It’s a good time to apply for dream jobs and work toward your goals.

Be careful not to lose your temper if things go off track, though. “Staying calm and composed, even in the face of unexpected change, is the name of the game,” Dossé-Via explains.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This will be an expansive time, Virgo. You’ll probably find yourself in the mood to travel. “If you can’t literally hop on a plane to the nearest remote island, you’ll travel through your intellectual explorations, perhaps by picking up a new book, learning how to cook international cuisines, or watching a foreign TV series,” Dossé-Via predicts.

Taurus season is a time to explore budding interests. As much as you love routine, you might be inspired to switch things up. Who knows? You may even discover a new regimen that works for you.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a time for collaboration, Libra. Whether you’re looking for financial or creative collaborations, find people who share your vision. You should apply for grants, scholarships, or sponsorships that you’re interested in pursuing during Taurus season.

“Libras have the magic touch!” Dossé-Via says. With Venus — yours and Taurus’s planetary ruler — in Pisces, you’ll feel, look, and even smell good all season long, she says.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Turn up the heat, Scorpio! “Scorpios are going to notice their love lives becoming more passionate, sensual, and somewhat dramatic this Taurus season,” Dossé-Via says. Your Sun, Mercury, Uranus, and North Node will all be in your partnership sector, making more people feel drawn to you. However, you’ll be feeling a little more selective.

“This may be the season where you either deepen bonds with someone you love, or attract a new connection with a soulmate,” Dossé-Via predicts. One thing is certain: Whether you chose a partner or yourself, it’s power couple season.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It’s time to get it together, Sagittarius. This season you’ll feel more focused on improving your mental, physical, and spiritual health.

“It’s important for Sag to pace themselves in this process of rebirth, otherwise they’ll get easily frustrated if they don’t see immediate progress,” Dossé-Via advised. “Their self-critical tendencies may emerge this season, so they may benefit from listening to peaceful, grounding meditations whenever they feel their anxiety increasing.”

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Finally, a lighter season is ahead, Capricorn. Take a break from your work, and let your inner child take the lead while the Sun is in Taurus. It’s all about finding a different definition of productive. Dossé-Via suggests spending time outdoors this Taurus season.

“Looking at the stars in the sky, playing jump rope with their friends, and tending to their own gardens are also forms of productivity that Capricorns are encouraged to engage in this season,” Dossé-Via says.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a season of home improvement, Aquarius. You may find yourself redecorating, renovating, or even relocating this month. Not only will you be feeling freshly inspired, you’ll also turn your house into a haven.

Be warned: Taurus energy tends to cause some tension for Aquarius. “It’s important for Aquarius to set appropriate boundaries with their family members,” Dossé-Via explains. “Aquarius should also respect the boundaries others may set with them.”

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Taurus season is a time of creation, Pisces, something you know well. Your sector of creativity and communication will be activated, and with Taurus energy harmonising with your own, you’ll likely feel dreamy and grounded.

The Sun in Taurus will help you make your thoughts tangible, and you’ll even be feeling more motivated. “If you have creative projects to share with the world, now would be the time to put it out there and prepare to receive the rewards!” Dossé-Via says.
