We have launched a new podcast! It’s called Dinner For Two, with Alyce Tran as host.

Alyce Tran needs no introduction. But if you’re not familiar with her eye-popping success story, here’s the elevator pitch. About a decade ago, Alyce left her corporate job as a lawyer to launch accessories brand The Daily Edited, and walked away in mid-2021 with invaluable insight on how to build a multi-million dollar business from the ground up. Alyce found a niche, and helped build the brand she co-founded into a $25 million dollar powerhouse.

But now — it’s time to share what she learnt, alongside some of the people who helped her along the way. How do we know Alyce knows her stuff? She’s a serial entrepreneur. Her second business In The Roundhouse continues to grow, she’s a strategic adviser for a handful of brands, and she’s built an expansive network of business leaders, creatives, influencers — all who have shaped her career.

We created this podcast to share Alyce’s experience launching, building, and eventually exiting The Daily Edited, the brand she co-founded way back in 2011. It initially launched as a clothing brand, but quickly pivoted to become the accessories brand we know today, most famous for its phone cases and clutches.

Over a series of eight episodes, each with its own theme, you’ll hear from Alyce and her rolodex of business leaders and entrepreneurs who she’s worked with throughout her career. Together, they share their lessons and advice on how to launch a business, how to market your product, how to launch into physical retail and take investment, how to lead a team, and more.

We know that this year has been marked as ‘The Great Resignation’, where it’s predicted the post-pandemic world will bring a shift in ambition and drive a new wave of innovation. If you have an idea, or a small business that’s really ready to take off, we urge you to listen to this podcast. Hear from people you wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to sit down and learn from.

This podcast is intended to be insightful and entertaining, and with so many podcasts already existing in this space, we worked hard to ensure the guests appearing throughout the series are truly at the top of their game.

Throughout the series, you’ll hear from the likes of Pip Edwards, co-founder and director at P.E Nation, Shelley Barrett, CEO at Model Co, Adrian Norris, CEO & co-founder at Aje, former Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop, and founder of Reliquia Collective, Ana Piteira.

Each guest is generous in opening up about their experience and offering actionable advice — the type of advice you’d pay good money for.
