Word on the street is Sadie Sink has a new haircut. Over the past few weeks, eagle-eyed fans have spotted her on several occasions sans her signature shoulder-length style. In its place? A short, chin-grazing bob.

Ever since a TikTok video surfaced of the actor singing at what looks like a small bar with the new look, fans have been speculating on the reason behind the big change. However, any news of a haircut has yet to be confirmed by Sink or her go-to hairstylist Ryan Richman. Comments ranged from “I’m in love” to “I love her hair sm omg,” with some wondering if the cut is for the final season of “Stranger Things,” where she plays Max Mayfield.

It’s not unusual for fans to link a “Stranger Things” actor’s beauty transformation to the show, as a few of the series’s regulars have undergone some pretty radical makeovers to get into character. It wasn’t long ago that Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, had viewers wondering if she got a buzzcut again in real life to film season four (spoiler: it was a wig that time).

Sink has yet to be photographed with this new short style so in the meantime, we’ll just be patiently waiting for the big reveal.
