Horror girlies, slay! The Callisto Protocol comes out on Friday, December 2, just in time for an all-night scare fest. A spiritual successor to Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol wants to be “the scariest game” ever made. You play as Jacob Lee, a victim of fate thrown into a maximum-security prison located on Jupiter’s moon, Callisto. When inmates start transforming into monstrous creatures who mutate and tear themselves apart in front of you, the prison is thrown into chaos and Jacob must battle through the madness to survive, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets that are hidden on Callisto.

The Callisto Protocol is a hardcore survival horror game. Jacob uses a blend of gunplay (although ammo is very scarce) and visceral close-quarters combat to fight the monsters, who rapidly evolve as you play. He also has to scavenge resources to unlock new weapons, gear and abilities if he has any hopes of escaping.

Ahead of the game’s release date on December 2, we’ve rounded up the best deals on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
