Preorders Are Live For the Splatoon 3 Switch OLED — Here’s Where You Can Buy It
To celebrate the launch of Splatoon 3 on September 9, Nintendo is releasing a limited-edition Splatoon Switch OLED featuring artwork inspired by the colourful team shooter. And for anyone who wants their Switch to stand out (or for the ultimate Splatoon fan), it’s the ultimate collector’s item. Just look at this:
The gradient colours on the Joy-Cons. The little inklings on the controllers. The yellow paint splatter on the dock! This thing is seriously colourful, like anything that’s inspired by Splatoon should be.
The Splatoon Switch OLED release date is August 26, and there’s a matching Pro Controller and carrying case releasing with the game on September 9. Preorders for all three are now open, so we’ve rounded up the best deals on the Splatoon Switch OLED and its accessories. If you want the cheapest copy of the game itself, we’ve also got that here.

Beyond its striking visuals, the Splatoon Switch OLED also has all the benefits of the regular OLED console, like a 7-inch screen that’s much brighter and has more vivid colours compared to the regular Switch. The OLED screen is perfect for playing a game like Splatoon, where the aim is to paint as much of the map as possible in your team’s colour. The Switch OLED also has more internal storage — 64GB compared to 32GB — and better speakers for an enhanced experience playing in handheld mode.
