From Hogwarts Legacy to Sonic Frontiers — All the Epic Games Coming to Gamescom (So Far)
Gamescom 2022 will kick off on August 23, and host Geoff Keighley has already confirmed some of the games that will be making an appearance during the Opening Night Live stream. The 2-hour-long stream will feature more than 30 games, with plenty more appearing in the Future Games Show, Xbox Booth Live, and Awesome Indies showcases later in the event.
Warner Bros. Games will be premiering new footage of Hogwarts Legacy — is it too much to hope for more information about the Collector’s Edition? We’re also getting new trailers for the dark fantasy Souls-like Life of P, survival horror game The Callisto Protocol and the superhero action game Gotham Knights. 2K, Bandai Namco, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft and Xbox will also be there to show off games.
Below, we’ve rounded up every game that’s been confirmed for the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream. We’ll be updating this list as more games are announced, so check back regularly for a sneak peek at the event!
One more thing: Gamescom is taking place in Germany, so the Australian times will be a little different to what you see on ads. If you’re really keen to watch the announcements in real-time, we’ve got the local times right here.
