Since Elden Ring released on February 25, not a week has gone by that it hasn’t trended. One reason is because it’s a huge game — the size of its map is overwhelmingly large and filled with secrets that players are still discovering. Another is because people who have never played a Souls game are getting into Elden Ring and sharing their experiences with this unique game. The other reason, of course, is that it’s an excellent game that has its claws in us.

Whatever their personal reason, people haven’t stopped talking about Elden Ring since its release. We’re still obsessed with Torrent, our loyal horse/goat mount who carries us across the map when we need to move swiftly. We’re still sharing tips for beating the game’s numerous, unforgiving bosses. Speedrunners are constantly one-upping each other — the current record for finishing the game is under nineteen minutes, which is truly insane for a game that players are otherwise putting dozens or even hundreds of hours into.

And, because we’re all still sharing our best, worst and most infuriating experiences with FromSoftware’s latest game, there’s been a constant stream of Elden Ring memes doing the rounds. We already rounded up the best memes about the game when it released, but because there are still so many being made every day we decided it’s worth doing again.

Elden Ring memes are becoming increasingly esoteric, as the community builds on in-jokes and picks their favourite characters like Miriel, the turtle who wears a Pope hat. Current events quickly become fodder for Elden Ring memes — there are already dozens of jokes about Will Smith at the Oscars being the final boss — and they’ve outlived every other game that’s been released since.
