The new Gossip Girl cast finally made their red carpet debut at Wednesday night’s NYC premiere, as if we weren’t already so hyped for the reboot airing July 8. While every member of the fresh crew was dressed to the nines, one look in particular that stood out was Whitney Peak’s head-to-toe Chanel ensemble, only appropriate for a newly minted member of Manhattan’s elite. The actress, who plays Zoya Lott, walked the red carpet wearing a gorgeous embroidered bustier dress with a matching organza cape from Chanel’s pre-fall 2021 collection. And as a Chanel ambassador, Whitney was naturally sporting jewelry, shoes, and even makeup from the luxury brand.
I don’t know about you, but the vampy vibe immediately reminded me of none other than Jenny Humphrey, who, interestingly enough, many fans have been comparing Zoya to since more details of the reboot have emerged. Perhaps Whitney wanted to give a subtle shout-out to her inspo ahead of the show? For what it’s worth, I could totally picture Little J wearing something like this to cotillion.
