Melissa Leong’s Earrings Are the Real Stars of MasterChef — Here’s Where to Find Them
Food writer, editor, critic and host of MasterChef Australia, Melissa Leong is also something of an on-screen style icon. While we tune in to the show to watch a bunch of culinary hopefuls cook for their lives to dramatic orchestral accompaniment, we stay for Leong’s looks, and in particular, her collection of mesmerising statement earrings.
This year, Leong’s stylists have truly outdone themselves; dressing the MasterChef judge in some of the chicest, most on-trend looks in the show’s history, from a neon frock to a playful checkered jumpsuit — and always accessorised to perfection.
Below, we’re breaking down some of Melissa Leong’s best MasterChef looks, and letting you know exactly where you can shop the outfits should you wish to style steal (we wouldn’t blame you).
Stylist Charmaine De Pasquale nailed it with this Sunday night look. Leong’s soft and flowy green dress is from S/W/F Boutique, her earrings are ELLIART, and the shoes Carvela.
We are so here for this colour clash moment. Leong’s structured pink frock can be found at S/W/F Boutique, while her earrings are Princess Polly, and her shoes Steve Madden.
This is up there with our favourite looks of the season. Maybe ever. Leong’s pastel checkered jumpsuit is from S/W/F Boutique, her Retro Rachel’s earrings are from Dented Diva, and her nude shoes are from Edward Meller.
Leong is a neon dream in this bright piece by S/W/F Boutique. Paired with statement Gorman earrings and some Carvela shoes, it’s a knock-out look that says ‘MasterChef at 7.30pm and rooftop bar at 8pm’.
This absolutely flawless look is all about the details. The collar! The sleeves! The belt! Those earrings! While the dress is reliably S/W/F Boutique, the earrings are a very affordable buy from Lovisa, while the belt is off-the-rack at Zara. Chuck your hair in a slick pony and top it off with a rich red-brown lip, and you can easily recreate this one at home.
This Kimono-style dress from KITX is something else. The grassy green tone is striking against the bold red lip, while the look is topped off by a glossy Country Road belt and Foxx & Ginger earrings.
Leong proves you really can’t go wrong with a little black dress, especially when it’s paired with a pop (or two) of colour. In this instance, the KITX look is brightly complemented by a bold red lip and a pair of floral Lovisa earrings.
