Julia Fox’s Handbag Collection Is Out of Control
In the right hands, a handbag is more than an accessory. For Julia Fox, whose eccentric outfits and revealing-streetwear moments push the limits of fashion, a handbag is never an afterthought – in some cases, it’s the defining piece of the outfit. From a clutch made out of human hair to a six-foot body bag, Fox has reimagined the functional accessory. As a result, we can’t help but select our memorable favorites in her collection.
Most recently, Fox meant business when she hit the pavement in New York City with a comically large briefcase purse in hand. The brown leather briefcase perfectly complemented her knee-high stiletto boots, which she paired with an oversize blazer and a matching tweed skirt in gray. As soon as photos of Fox’s business-casual look hit social media, fans were quick to speculate about what Fox might have been carrying in the massive briefcase. Sketches outlining her next showstopping outfit? Her head-turning garment-bag dress? Latex and duct tape in case she needs to craft a new ensemble on the spot?
Beyond the briefcase, Fox’s expansive handbag collection includes purses in all styles. In May, she effortlessly strutted down the sidewalk in an outfit made entirely of condoms, with a handbag to match. At the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, Fox wore a black evening gown and a clutch made out of human hair. After sneaking a peak at her wardrobe, it’s clear that, regardless of the occasion, Fox has an ensemble ready to go and a handbag to match.

Julia Fox's Condom Handbag
For Fox, even a casual walk down the sidewalk can be a standout fashion moment. Most notably, the model caught the paparazzi’s attention when she stepped out in a see-through tube top and knee-high boots made out of condoms. She completed the outfit with a white miniskirt and a clear condom handbag filled with what appeared to be jewelry and makeup.
Julia Fox's Human Hair Handbag
At the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, Fox redefined the choker in an avant-garde leather gown complete with a unique neckline: a clawed hand wrapped around her throat. She tied the monochrome outfit together with leather evening gloves, black pumps, and a clutch, designed by Charlie Le Mindu, which she claimed was made out of human hair.
Upon closer inspection, the bag appears to be loosely inspired by the hairstyles of many a 2010s Hot Topic employee. “The comments [about the purse] are going to be ridiculous. But, you know what, I’m having fun and that’s all that matters,” Fox told red carpet cohost Catt Sadler on the red carpet, according to Insider.
Julia Fox's Boot Handbag
At first glance, this may not appear to be one of Fox’s most memorable handbags. Upon closer inspection, however, the bag – designed by London-based fashion brand Untitlab – features a unique spin on the unconventional footwear trend. While the shoe isn’t actually on Fox’s foot, it is a central part of her ensemble. The top of the white leather bag resembles a traditional tote, while the base mirrors the sole of a lugged shoe. A unique piece, the boot bag is an innovative way to combine two accessories into one.
Julia Fox's Heel Handbag
Continuing the footwear trend, Fox also has a bag modeled after a stiletto boot, complete with a four-inch silver-cast heel. Though relatively simple in comparison to some of her other bags, the shape of the Syro purse is what’s truly perplexing. Rather than laying flat like a traditional shoe, the heel lays toe up with the strap connected to the sole and ankle of the boot. To open the asymmetrical bag, all you have to do is unzip it from ankle to toe – not exactly intuitive but definitely interesting.
Julia Fox's Body-Bag Purse
Perhaps Fox’s most dramatic fashion display yet, this six-foot-long body-bag purse shocked several onlookers when Fox arrived at New York Fashion Week in February. The bag, modeled after the silhouette of a woman, featured a long blond wig protruding from the head, arms clad in black leather, a waist with handles for Fox to grip onto, and legs that ended in platform boots.
Julia Fox's Oversize Briefcase Bag
Fox added intrigue to a typical business-casual look when she strutted through NYC in an oversize tweed blazer, a matching skirt, and pointed-toe stilettos in brown leather. The focal point of her ensemble, though, was definitely the enormous Luar bag in her right hand. Leaving no doubt that Fox meant business, the bag covered a third of her body and hammered home the idea that oversize bags are back.
Julia Fox's Raven Handbag
We’re not sure this is what Edgar Allan Poe meant when he penned “The Raven,” but Fox certainly delivered her own interpretation of the classic poem – intentionally or not – when she stepped out with this hyper-realistic raven bag in NYC. Deemed the bird bag on social media, Fox’s purse – which, arguably, could have been modeled after a crow – dangled beside her, nearly grazing the floor as she crossed the NYC streets. She styled the corvid-inspired bag with a see-through metallic corset and a floor-length skirt in black.
Julia Fox's Fox Handbag
Never missing an opportunity to play with fashion, Fox has even stepped out with a black leather bag in the shape of a fox. Though many believed it was a dog at first, the voluminous tail protruding from the back of the bag and the pointed ears near the front seem to indicate the accessory is a sartorial play on the model’s own last name. She styled the animal-inspired bag with black heeled boots, a hooded leather crop top, and a matching maxi skirt with butt cutouts.
Julia Fox's Heart-Shaped Handbag
Though one of her more subtle accessories, this semitransparent heart-shaped handbag is certainly one of Fox’s most memorable. The adorable design, which features frilled edges and glitter inlays, paired beautifully with her “soft girl”-style outfit, which included white platform heels and a co-ord set that solidified the outerwear-as-underwear trend celebrities have been promoting all year.
Julia Fox's Memoir Handbag
Finally – while promoting her memoir, “Down the Drain,” which dropped on Oct. 10 – Fox used her outfit as an opportunity to shout out her first book. Rather than a Birkin bag or a plastic tote made of condoms, Fox rocked a clutch modeled after the cover of her memoir, down to the shape and size of the book. The outer print of the clutch featured the same photos of Fox on the front and back of the book sleeve, while the pages were swapped out for a silver zipper.
