Is There Gap in Australia?
Short answer: yes! Five years after being discontinued down under, today, April 11 2022, Gap have announced that its distribution partner, True Alliance, has launched an Australian online store.
The Gap Australia online store will deliver the brand’s modern American optimism to customers down under. This launch is part of Gap’s partner to amplify strategy, which will basically see their brand expand and reach new customers and countries.
Why Did Gap Leave Australia?
Gap was available in Australia for five years, in a partnership with Oroton. In 2017, the Oroton Group announced that they were discontinuing their relationship with Gap, “to focus on its core Oroton handbag business and limit future financial losses” as reported by Sydney Morning Herald at the time.
How Do I Get Gap Delivered to Australia?

According to the website, products should be delivered within 5 to 10 working days. For WA, QLD, NT and remote country areas, they ask you allow an extra 2 to 3 business days for delivery.
