Demi Lovato Wore a Bold Purple Suit For Her Powerful Billboard Music Awards Performance

We don’t know what we love more: Demi Lovato‘s powerful performance at the Billboard Music Awards or her bold bright purple suit. Just weeks after calling off her engagement to Max Ehrich, Demi took the stage at the virtual award show to give a moving performance of her new song “Commander in Chief.” The singer performed the song on a piano wearing the ’90s-inspired purple suit while a “Vote” sign flashed in the background. The suit itself came in an oversized silhouette and featured bold shoulder pads.

While we didn’t get a glimpse of the entire outfit, we couldn’t help but stare at the gorgeous jewels she wore. Demi accessorized her award show look with a bunch of diamond choker necklaces all stacked up and a pair of diamond hoop earrings. She also matched her eyeshadow to the color of her suit and gave another nod to the ’90s with her Baby Spice-esque half-up half-down pigtails.
