Bridal fashion trends are constantly changing. Much like the concept of a wedding itself — bridal fashion trends are evolving with the times, re-imagining some of the old and creating something new.
Looking to some recent, iconic celebrity weddings gives us an idea of what to expect when it comes to bridal trends and inspo for 2023. Below, we’ve pulled together three celebrity-inspired bridal fashion trends and where you can shop the look.
Opera Gloves
If you hadn’t already heard — Nicole Peltz-Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham are married and love each other so much!
But jokes aside, we do love this sweet couple, who have been enviably obsessed with each other since 2019.
The pair got married last year in an extravagant affair, with Nicola donning a Valentino Haute Couture wedding gown, complete with a long lace veil and lace opera gloves.
Opera gloves have been peeking their way back into mainstream fashion, becoming a solidified red carpet trend. Worn by the likes of Kate Middleton and Florence Pugh, plus appearing down runways and on the social media styling of local brands, this “Bridgerton” style trend is likely to be walking down the aisle in 2023.

The Mini Dress
Alternative wedding dresses are a big trend coming into 2023, with modern brides stepping outside of tradition and making their own rules.
One of the biggest celebrity weddings recently, was Kourtney Kardashian-Barker and Travis Barker. While the pair got married three times, Kourtney’s arguably most memorable dress was her white lace Dolce & Gabanna mini, that she wore during their ceremony in Italy.
With a corseted bustier and lace detailing, this twist on a classic undergarment-turned-wedding dress brought a timelessness to the modernity.

High Necklines
It was a literally like a fairytale, when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck re-kindled their love almost 20 years later. Not only did the destined-to-be pair get engaged for a second time, they finally went through with the wedding!
As per usual, queen JLo looked divine. She wore a custom Ralph Lauren gown, that was a simple silhouette, with cascading ruffles on the sleeves, a romantic handkerchief voluminous skirt, and an exquisite high-neck.
This high-neck detail stands out to us, as it lends itself to an extremely classic cut and shape — quintessential of the brand.
With traditional styles done in a modern way are certainly coming back to the forefront, we predict that high necklines will be making a return to bridal trends, and emerge more frequently in 2023.
