Every Contestant Who's Been Unmasked on “The Masked Singer” Season 7
“The Masked Singer” is back for its seventh season on Fox, and returning to judge the stiff competition are Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke, with Nick Cannon hosting again. This time around, the show has a new exciting theme for the group of contestants to follow. Season seven – which premiered on March 9 – divides the monsters into three categories: the good, the bad, and the cuddly.
To kick things off for each team, “The Masked Singer” introduced Firefly, McTerrier, Ram, Cyclops, and Thingamabob in its season premiere, all of whom are fighting to win the Golden Mask trophy. Keep reading ahead for updates on all the unmasked singers and those still in the running to be crowned season seven’s winner.
Who Is the Cyclops on "The Masked Singer"?
The Cyclops put on a rocking performance of “My Sacrifice” by Creed on behalf of Team Bad during its debut on March 9. Based on its clues, the judges threw out a few guesses of its identity so far, including William Zabka, Danny McBride, and Rob Dyrdek from MTV’s “Ridiculousness.” It hasn’t been unmasked yet, so the possibilities of who could be behind the mask are endless.
Who Is the Firefly on "The Masked Singer"?
The Firefly graced the stage in the season premiere for Team Good, performing a slow version of Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” Fans online immediately pointed out the strong possibility that the glowing beetle could be Teyana Taylor, but the judges also guessed singers like Alicia Keys, Monica, and even comedian Aisha Tyler.
Who Is the Thingamabob on "The Masked Singer"?
Thingamabob repped for Team Cuddly during the season premiere with an electric performance of Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Teasing a clue that rock music is a major influence on them, judges guessed that the person behind the mask could be the lead singer of Metallica, James Hetfield. They also predicted that the celebrity could be wrestler Chris Jericho or former NFL player Terrell Owens.
Who Is the Ram on "The Masked Singer"?
The armor-clad Ram performed “I Want You to Want Me” by Cheap Trick for Team Bad during the first episode and had the judges guessing several NFL stars who could be under the mask – including Jim Harbaugh, Matthew Stafford, and Peyton Manning. However, the Ram told them that they were “dead freakin’ wrong,” so there’s still a big question mark on their identity.
Who Is the McTerrier on "The Masked Singer"?
The McTerrier had an eventful performance for Team Good during the season seven premiere, singing Loverboy’s “Working For the Weekend.” But mid-way through the performance, their costume head fell off, however, the judges turned around before they were able to identify them. In the end, the McTerrier received the least amount of votes and was subsequently eliminated from the competition. The unmasking revealed that Food Network star Duff Goldman was underneath the costume.
