A new dating show is coming to Netflix just in time for Valentine’s Day. Netflix’s “Perfect Match” takes place in a pristine tropical paradise and features some of the most famous single folks out there – including alums from “Love Is Blind,” “The Circle,” “Too Hot to Handle,” and “The Ultimatum.” Netflix released the jam-packed trailer for the series on Feb. 2, and it promises tons of drama, a lot of intrigue, and many, many kisses.
“As they compete to form relationships, the most compatible couples will play matchmaker, breaking up other couples and sending them on dates with brand-new singles they’ll invite to the villa,” the show’s description reads. “Will they create better matches, or will they create chaos? In this over-the-top journey of strategy and dating hosted by Nick Lachey, only one couple will be crowned the Perfect Match.” The 12-episode first season will air over the course of three weeks.
And though the series hasn’t premiered yet, it’s already causing drama. Former “Love Is Blind” contestant Shayne Jansen is one of the contestants, and his former fiancé Natalie Lee claimed he went into casting for the show while they were still together. In an Instagram Story from January, she claimed he was also texting her during filming, asking to get back together. Jansen denied her claims in his own post.
