Channel 10 has been teasing us with short previews of The Masked Singer, but now we’ve been blessed with an extended first look at the upcoming season.
In the new trailer, we’re given a longer preview of the new characters, which include a baby, a kebab, a fish with a mullet, a pavlova and other creatures that are downright horrifying.
There is one contestant in particular that can really hold a tune, as they belt out Fly Away by Tones and I.
The trailer also shows judge Jackie ‘O’ Henderson admitting to feeling clucky after seeing the giant baby.
“But I wouldn’t want to be giving birth to you,” she hilariously adds.
But the moment that left every single person in the studio stunned was when one of the characters literally lost their head.
The person behind the fish with a mullet became so engrossed in the performance that they fell down, causing their head to come off.
Luckily, the celeb manages to not expose himself, as they hid their head in their costume.
“I did not see a head at all, you turned into a tortoise real quick,” said judge David ‘Hughesy’ Hughes.
The Masked Singer will see host Osher Gunsberg as a host once again and will feature Urzila Carlson, Jackie O, Dave Hughes and Dannii Minogue on the judging panel.
