All of The Block: Fans vs Faves Garage, Basement and Powder Room Reveals
The Blockheads have been running around this week as they attempt to complete their garages, basement and powder rooms. And while most of the couples made it to the finish line, Josh and Luke really struggled to get there.
One team came out on top for the whopping fifth time while another scored extremely low.
Here is how they went.
Ronnie and Georgia
Ronnie and Georgia really impressed the judges. The Graffito wallpaper looked incredible, and while the floor was slightly messy, the judges brushed it off due to it being a garage. The powder room in the garage was a great addition and the spiral staircase that connected the basement, the middle level and the mezzanine was beautifully designed.
Mitch and Mark
While the pink mural on Mitch and Mark’s garage door certainly made an impact, the judges weren’t too sure about it. While they did love the upstairs work from home space, that is pretty much where the positives ended. The basement was a mess, and the sofa, wine fridge and storage cabinets did not match. Neal went so far as to call it a “panic room” so overall, not a good week for the couple.
Tanya and Vito
The judges loved Tanya and Vito’s garage but weren’t too happy with the exclusion of a fourth bedroom in the space. They think the couple made a mistake and it will cost them on auction day.
Josh and Luke
We didn’t think it could get any worse for the siblings, but this week, their space was a total disaster. The judges were fuming at the unfinished project. The fourth bedroom/study looked like a medical centre waiting room and the ensuite bathroom was unusable. One of the worst spaces they’ve ever seen on The Block.
Kirsty and Jesse
Kirsty and Jesse have had one incredible week after another and this time it was no different. The judges loved the Gaggenau fridges in the basement and were happy they included a study and fourth bedroom. But it was obvious they came across some budget issues.
In the end, Ronnie and Georgia were crowned the winner for the week with Josh and Luke getting the lowest score.
