Grab Your Cosmo, Because We Finally Have the First Look at the Sex and the City Reboot
It’s been a while since Sex and the City aired on our television screens, but fans will never forget Carrie Bradshaw’s relationship with Mr. Big.
The famously on-again, off-again couple gave us plenty to talk about, and despite questioning whether their dynamic was healthy, we couldn’t help but follow their crazy journey with them.
We all know by now that the show is making a return, featuring the original cast (excluding Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones) but now, they’re in their 50s.
And while we’ve seen photos and snippets here and there, HBO Max finally released the first teaser during the 2021 Emmy Awards on Monday.
The spinoff series titled And Just Like That … sees Carrie and Big dancing in the kitchen and sharing a kiss.
While we don’t know the premiere date just yet, we do know the show will follow a similar format to the original, but this time, the women are older and have quite a bit of experience under their belt.
The 10-episode series “will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” according to HBO Max.
We can’t wait to be inspired by all the eclectic fashion looks, paired with Carrie’s favourite Manolo’s of course.
Other returning cast members include Mario Cantone (Anthony Marentino), David Eigenberg (Steve Brady), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch) and Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt).
There will also be a number of new faces joining the show.
