They’re Back! Poh, Reynold and Callum Join MasterChef Australia’s Elimination Sunday
If you’re a die-hard MasterChef fan like us, you’ll no doubt be excited to see past favourites Poh Ling Yeow, Callum Hann and Reynold Poernomo return to set a fierce elimination challenge for the MasterChef hopefuls on Sunday night’s episode.
The contestants will have 90 minutes to whip up a delicious dish worthy on the menus of the three past MasterChef stars and at the end of the night, one aspiring cook will be sent home.
So what have the trio of talented chefs been up to since they last visited the MasterChef set?
Poh has been no stranger to TV after finishing as runner-up on the first season of MasterChef Australia back in 2009 and returning to the show in 2021 for MasterChef Australia: Back To Win.
She has also led several of her own cooking and lifestyle series on SBS, including Poh’s Kitchen, Poh’s Kitchen on the Road and Poh & Co.
Poh doesn’t just create art on a plate, but on canvases too as she is a very accomplished artist who has enjoyed many solo exhibitions and has even had work featured in publications such as Vogue Australia, House & Garden, The Advertiser and mX.
Meanwhile, Callum Hann bravely opened his own Mediterranean restaurant called Lou’s Place in the Barossa Valley in 2020, and business is thriving.
He is the author of Quick. Easy. Healthy, I’d Eat That and The Starter Kitchen.
The popular celebrity chef and television host welcomed his first child — a daughter named Elle — with his wife Crystal in 2020.
And dessert king Reynold Poernomo is doing amazingly well, having opened two dessert bars named KOI (Kids of Ike) in Sydney’s Chippendale and Ryde along with their neighbourhood eatery Monkey’s Corner, which is also in Chippendale.
We can’t wait to see our favourites back in the MasterChef Australia kitchen once more!
