Get ready, “Love Island” fans! It’s time to pack your bags and head back to the sun-soaked villa for another scorching season of the UK’s hottest reality show. Season 10 is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see what’s in store for our Islanders.
So, prepare to dive into a summer of love, drama, and some seriously epic outfits! Here’s everything you need to know about the new season of “Love Island UK“.
“Love Island UK” Cast
ITV has unveiled the details of the first set of Islanders. From a deaf semi-professional footballer to a beautician who’s got a strict “no skinny jeans” policy, these islanders are bound to bring the drama, the love triangles, and everything in between.
Ruchee Gurung was the first 2023 Islander to be announced. The 24-year-old beautician from Sutton knows what she wants.
“I also get the ick if I see a guy wearing white jeans and red trainers. Another one is super skinny jeans when they look like leggings. Fashion is such an important thing for me. If I go on a date and the guy isn’t wearing something I like, I’m going home,” she said.
Tyrique Hyde, a 24-year-old semi-professional footballer, is another Islander heading into the villa. When asked what he wants his fellow contestants to know about him, he said: “That I’m deaf in my right ear. “I’ve got a tattoo next to my left one that symbolises strength and power in my good one.”
He says he’s been “single my whole life” and that he has “commitment issues”.

Who Is the Host?
The fabulous Maya Jama is returning as the queen of the “Love Island” villa. After receiving praise for her hosting duties during the winter series earlier in the year, Jama confirmed her return on social media.
The TV presenter posted a carousel of her “Love Island” outfits on Instagram on March 22, and added “best time ever can’t wait to do it all over in the summer” in the caption.
Fans can expect Maya Jama to bring her infectious energy and stunning outfits to the “Love Island” villa once again.
Jama took over the coveted reality TV gig from Laura Whitmore in 2022. After being the anchor of “Love Island” for the last three seasons, Whitmore confirmed in August. that she would be standing down from the show. Having been at the helm of the series since 2020 when she took over from the late Caroline Flack, she stated conflicting schedules as her reason to leave the villa.
