However, the journey isn’t always smooth, with backstabbing and betrayal often taking place. While some hearts may be broken, others manage to find The One. But to find out which couples make it out strong and which ones bite the dust is yet to be seen.
Tasmanian local Mitch Hibberd has conquered the sporting world as an AFL player, but now, he wants to find someone to settle down with. “In the past, with a footy background I’ve had a bit of attention I suppose. I’m sure they might label me as a ladies’ man or a player, but I definitely think I’m past that now,” he said.
The athlete has had nine operations, including shoulder surgery, which is the reason he no longer plays and is now setting his sights on the family business.
The 25-year-old is ready to be vulnerable, and while he’s had plenty of flings in the past, he’s now looking for someone to start a serious relationship with.
