Harry Tomlinson Is Going to Be Tough to Beat on MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites
Harry Tomlinson has kicked off her MasterChef Australia journey with a bang, winning one of three Immunity pins in the very first episode. With dreams of one day becoming a food writer, Tomlinson will stop at nothing to have her name engraved on the coveted MasterChef Australia trophy.
As the youngest of three children, the coffee roaster from Victoria grew up preparing dinner with her family and finds cooking to be her ultimate source of comfort.
The aspiring chef has been working in the hospitality industry since she was 16-years-old and moved to London at the age of 19. Upon returning home to Melbourne, Tomlinson now works at Proud Mary Coffee.
Driven and ambitious, Tomlinson is constantly brushing up on her skills as a cook and will be tough to beat in the MasterChef kitchen. Her favourite dishes to plate up are veal cotoletta with herb oil, burnt cabbage with tarragon cream and parmigiano, and pickled fennel.
Surprisingly, the ingredient she gravitates towards the most is offal, along with fresh oysters, vine-ripened tomatoes and parmigiana. Citing Fergus Henderson, Samin Nosrat, Rick Stein and Annie Smithers as her food idols, Tomlinson describes her cooking as homely but refined.
Her strong intuition will most likely work in her favour when it comes to Mystery Box challenges, so the other contestants better watch out.
MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites airs at 7.30pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play On Demand.
