Claire Danes Shows Off Her Growing Baby Bump on the Red Carpet

Claire Danes is rocking her baby bump on the red carpet. On May 9, the 44-year-old actor stepped out for a “Fleishman Is in Trouble” event in Los Angeles, giving fans a glimpse at her growing belly. She’s currently expecting her third child with husband and fellow actor Hugh Dancy, joining sons Cyrus, 10 and Rowan, 4.

In early January, People confirmed the couple was getting ready to welcome another baby. Just days after the news broke, Danes made a red-carpet appearance at the Golden Globes, as she was nominated for her role in “Fleishman Is in Trouble.” At the Globes, she wore a white floral gown with a satin bow and sparkling trim, but at the recent event, her bump was much more visible in a black boatneck gown with open sleeves.

Despite the happy news, Danes recently told Jimmy Fallon that her sons were not entirely on board with their expanding family. “[Cyrus] was sort of resigned to it. I mean, the worst has already happened. His name is Rowan,” she said of her oldest son’s reaction. Rowan, on the other hand, had “more to lose” as the resident youngest child. “He was categorically opposed to the idea,” Danes said at the time. She also revealed her latest pregnancy was a surprise for the couple, who met in 2006 while filming “Evening” and married three years later.
