Kylie Jenner is known for experimenting with her beauty looks, but her latest hair change might still take you by surprise. Jenner posted a sultry photo on Instagram, but instead of her gorgeous ’90s supermodel lip being the star of the show, it was her new curtain bangs.
The rest of Jenner’s hair was styled straight in her usual jet-black colour, ending right above her hip. Her bangs followed the traditional curtain silhouette: split right down the middle and swept to each side to perfectly framing her face. The entire hairstyle had a retro feel to it.

Curtain bangs have become a staple hair trend over the last few years, and since they don’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon, there are a few ways to modernize the look and give it an elevated feel. “A more modern twist would be to make the bangs a little shorter and textured in the centre, so they can also be worn as a full textured fringe on days you want to change it up,” Michael Bowman, a stylist at NYC’s Rob Peetoom Salon, previously told POPSUGAR. “This will also make it easier to grow out when the next trend hits.”
