Abbie Chatfield’s hair game is strong. One day she’s rocking an ultra-straight, high ponytail on “FBoy Island” and the next, her natural waves are on full display while she’s recording her radio show. Somehow, though, despite the endless styling, she always manages to keep her hair looking glossy and healthy.
So, what’s her secret? Well, Chatfield has, in a 2019 Instagram post and 2022 interview with Beauty Heaven, shared about one brand she uses again and again for her signature defined curls. It’s Aussie company, Boss Curl Co.
“I am so upset I didn’t find you earlier, I would have saved so much trial and error and time with one of these kits sooner!” praised the Aussie media personality.
The “FBOY Island” host is known for keeping it real so when she says that the holy grail of curl care is Boss Curl Co’s Frizz Off Kit ($199), we trust her. She says she uses it religiously to tackle ‘The Curly Girl Method’, which focuses on using conditioner, gel and air drying instead of reaching for your hot hair tools as soon as you step out of the shower. Since she started using the Frizz Off Kit, she says her waves look more defined and full of life.
Inside the kit, you’ll find the H20 Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner, a Boss Curl Wet Brush, one bottle of Scrunch Out the Crunch Oil, Curl’s Best Friend Leave-In Conditioner, Curl Talk Strong Styling Gel, a pot of Hair Treatment and a Mircrofibre Hair Wrap. It’s best used on 2c – 4a type hair or if often find your hair in a bushy, untamable state, thanks to frizz.
BRB, going to make ourselves some perfect curls.
