Ashley Tisdale is capturing the magic of the season with her latest manicure. On Sept. 28, the actor posted an Instagram Story showing off her new chocolate-brown set. However, it was the additional nail art that made her nails really stand out.
Tisdale chose a cat-eye nail-art design to complement her brown nails. To get the look, her manicurist, Queenie Nyugen, added a silver shimmery polish on top of the existing brown shade and then used a magnet to push the polish in different directions, giving each nail a concentrated “cat eye” finish.
Magnetic nails are mesmerizing year-round, but they are particularly well suited for fall when dark-toned nail polishes rise in popularity because they make the shimmery finish stand out even more. The look was particularly popular in 2019 and since then has been combined with additional manicure styles, like ombré or french tips, for a trendy spin.
